recreation project

A recent project involved recreating a page of a magazine given certain element such as text and images. We began by adding background elements and ultimately created an image very similar to the original. I did enjoy this project, and didn't come across too many problems, although there were minor issues involving imported images seeming pixilated. Overall, I'm happy with the way my image turned out.

design experience

Prior to this class I have created cards and invitations both on and offline, decoupaged boxes, book covers, and binders, and created computer graphics for use on the internet. I love experimenting with colour and texture as well as using alternative material to achieve a desired result. I look forward to learning more about print design and the ways in which media can be designed in order to appeal to a large audience.
